0-60 in 4.9 for the hybrid. Not bad.

Pretty car. Oh so pretty car that been ruined with a STEER BY WIRE SYSTEM.
What genius thought that up?!
"Hey guys, great idea, lets make it to where the steering wheel isn't connected to the wheels, but a computer turns them!"
" Great idea, raise for you."
NO STUPID IDEA.
*yes I understand it's optional but it's standard on some models I think*

There's a hybrid version?

Yup. Not really for green-ness, but more for performance.

I'd have to drive it before before I could judge.

I can't trust a wheel that isn't connected to two more wheels. I don't care if there's a clutch that reconnects them if the car shuts off or not. What was wrong with keeping it simple and just using a good ole' steering column?

I don't think I'd have a problem with electric drive by wire, but having a steering column as well kid of defeats the purpose.

It's just one of those things that won't catch on I feel. Because like you said if there's a column it's pointless. Plus if your car died and you had to push it somewhere, how would you steer it without a column.

But a car with PS is near impossible to steer while the car is off anyway.
*EDIT* Misread your post. True. I really don't know.
